Weekend Recap 10-24-10

God is still moving in 2010!

Today Liz and I took the weekend "off" and visited a local church in a neighboring city! It is good to occasionally visit how God is moving in other church and to learn some practical ways ministry can work! It was great to rest this weekend and re-energize!

Today we saw a church baptize at least 20 people, just in one service! This is a church that was started less than a decade ago with a little over 100 people and now they are having a global impact on God's Kingdom!

As we are still counting how many weeks we have been open at FCC @ Stone Canyon, it is inspiring and motivating to know that God is going to do great things through the ministry of Stone Canyon and have life changing impact on people's lives, possibly all over the world!

I want to give a shout out to the team of VOLUNTEERS that pulled off the worship service today in my absence (you pull it off in my presence too!) and I thank God everyday for being part of such a great team at Stone Canyon! I had no worries today because I knew the team would do great, we have great leaders and great volunteers!

Also a special thanks to the FCC worship ministry leader Tim Tibbles for filling in my duties this weekend!

FYI's

Remember to start planning your "Love Thy Neighbor" Projects and also go to

http://fccstonecanyon.wufoo.com/forms/love-thy-neighbor/

and fill out your project times! Our goal is 500 hours total for our campus by the end of the year! I will report our 1st total on November 7th so let' see if we can get 25% of the way there by then!

On October 31st we will begin a new series titled: "How to be Rich"
Pay close attention as it isn't title how to get rich! Most of us already are and we don't even know it!

In Christ,

Bobby Reed
